Your new car breaks down on an overpass during rush hour.
Your boss lays a pile of unfinished papers on your desk at 4pm
on Friday afternoon. Your computer crashes just as you finish a
document. How do you react to situations such as these? Might
we suggest that you resort to one of the "Smithisms" listed below.
Dr. Smith was notorious for his unique verbosity. When Robot would irritate him, he would let the insults fly. Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) would often stay up all night brainstorming affronts to the Robot. The next time someone cuts you off at the intersection, stick your head out of the window and yell, "Watch what you're doing, you sanctimonious scatterbrain!" Or if your VCR doesn't record your favorite show, scream "Damn you clod-like collection of condensers!" If your feeling inspired make up your own list of Smithisms and e-mail them to us. |
